Svind

The goal for this piece was to create a place where the eye could simultaneously admire the creations of nature and man, not in conflict, but in harmony. Inspired by Swedish patterns and their coat of arms, this sculpture begins as a patterned cylinder and, with the hyperbolic formula applied, expands into something incredible, casting beautifully patterned shadows in the soft Swedish sunlight.

In an already breathtaking landscape, what can be added that doesn’t detract as yet another eyesore placed by man? This was the question asked and delicately answered in the Svind design.
